About the Windows Repair Suite
This suite of tools is designed to help diagnose and fix common issues with the Windows operating system. It includes various utilities to address problems with the file system, registry, network, and more.
Key Features

SYSTEM FIX
Repair corrupted Windows images and system files. Repairs Windows' internal component store (WinSxS). Runs either a quick check or a full repair pulling files from Windows Update. Verifies corruption state, very quick. Attempts automatic repair from Microsoft Update.
FILE FIX
Validates and repair system files using WinSxS backups. This is best run after DISM to ensure integrity of protected files. It checks the integrity of protected system files and replaces any corrupted ones with cached copies. Scans and verifies the integrity of all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions. It's a built-in tool used to verify the integrity of Windows files and replace any that are damaged or missing.
CHECK DISK:
It scans for issues like bad sectors, cross-linked files, and directory, fixes file system errors, which can improve system performance and prevent data loss. Scans selected drives for file system errors and bad sectors. For data volumes, the scan and fix is run instantly in the background, and the output is streamed into the UI. Examines the structure and organization of files on your hard drive, looking for any discrepancies or errors. It scans for sectors on the hard drive that are unable to store information correctly and marks them as unusable. It resolves situations where multiple files might be sharing the same disk space, which can cause conflicts and errors. Drive that is being used for the operating system (usually C:) will require a restart to complete the check to do offline repairs.
Network Reset
Runs commands to reset Winsock, flush the DNS resolver cache, and reset TCP/IP. Useful for fixing slow, broken, or misconfigured internet issues. Netsh sets the TCP/IP configuration and restores it to its original state. Output from each command appears live in the UI.
Temp Clean
Cleans the User Temp folder, Windows Temp, and empties Recycle Bin. Options are available to choose what to delete.
Windows Update Repair
Stops Windows Update services, deletes cache folders (SoftwareDistribution and Catroot2), and restarts services. This helps when updates are stuck, fail repeatedly, or corrupt. Services stopped/started: `wuauserv`, `bits`, and `cryptsvc`.
Event View
Shows Windows Event Viewer logs: System, Application, and Security (failed logons). You can filter by number of days, refresh the logs, cancel loading, or export to CSV. Each log entry displays timestamp, source log, Event ID, level, and message.
How to Use
Each section has a button as it explain in short terms, for checking the errors and files and will report if needs repairs. Run each feature at the time. A reboot is always good. For Drive fix that as OS the fix will run on the next boot.
